Just Got a Deal On this Kenwood R-1000

I Entended To Give This radio To My Father, As He Likes Listening To The Short Wave Bands.

He Alway’s Go By the Lakefront & Sits There To Kill Time.

The radio Does Not have a 12 Vdc So I Made a Modification And added a 12 Vdc In The Back Of The Radio So I Can Build Him a Small Battery Pack To take To The Lakefront With Him As Well As a Wire antenna That Would Be Portable and Easy To erect.
